Brett and Arianna met in Texas in 2006. Brett was working for Nokia and Arianna was working for AT&T.

Brett had been living in Texas for three years and Arianna was there for work.  A chance meeting at a mall lead to a short conversation where an offhanded comment about a social media account lead to the virtual exchanging of phone numbers.  Then came lots of text messages which lead to phone calls that lasted hours, which lead to a first date.

Brett and Arianna’s first date took place in Oklahoma City on August 17, 2006.  Brett drove from Dallas for the date.  It was 100 degrees outside, and Arianna wanted to go to the zoo.  Brett was a gentleman and took her to the zoo even though it was a billion degrees.  After a wonderful (but HOT) day at the zoo, they went to dinner at Nonna’s in Bricktown and finished the evening at Louie’s by Lake Hefner.  It was the best date Arianna had ever been on (and she suspects it was Brett’s favorite, too).

The couple took turns driving back and forth between Dallas and Oklahoma City, until they decided that Arianna should move to Dallas so they could be together on a daily basis.

They’ve been together ever since.
