6 months and counting. . .

It is crazy to think that we got engaged six months ago! And now, we are only six months away from the wedding!! This weekend we got quite a bit of wedding planning knocked out.

Our registries are officially started. The first registry is at Target. We will also have registries at Bed Bath and Beyond and Crate and Barrel but those are not set yet.

Save the dates and wedding invitations have been ordered as well and I am so excited to get them! They look really great and I can not wait to share them with everybody.

My dress is still not in yet, but when I ordered it in December they said it could take until June to come in. C’mon dress…. GET HERE because I want to see you!

Bachelorette party ideas, bachelor party plans, wedding shower ideas and engagement party plans have all been talked about this weekend. It has been quite the busy weekend.

So, six months down, six months to go!

So. Excited.

The Fun Continues

Today we went to look at Mission Theatre in downtown Mission, KS as a possible site for the reception.  We had looked at a another venue earlier and it was gorgeous, but just not feasible.  So, we went back to the idea board and came up with a couple other ideas.

We talked to our friends to see if anyone had been to the Mission Theatre for a wedding, and a few had and said that it was nice.

We walked in and started our tour and as soon as we walked into the actual theatre, I KNEW we wanted this venue.  I can’t wait to see the theatre decorated for our reception and packed full of our family and friends, celebrating, dancing and laughing with us!

Not Much to Report

There’s not a lot of news as far as details go, but some of the other pages have been updated, so be sure to check them out!  Under ‘Meet Our Parents,’ the Bride’s parents have been added in; I need to track down some pictures and a little bio for the Groom’s parents.  And under ‘The Details,’ Honeymoon has been updated, so be sure to check them out.
